With only changing the MaxVersion on the kernel patches and updating Lilu macOS Sonoma works just fine :D

Edit: I don't recommend updating your current system with Sonoma. If you want to test it use a different drive/partition.

The problem went away by having Ventura download the update all over again and try installing again from start.
This did the trick! Many thanks!!

Remove SMBIOS info from your EFI and attach it here.

Code:

@Graystarr What they meant was remove the serial numbers from the config.plist file and upload the file so your config settings can be checked.

Yes I'm fully aware but what was uploaded was just the SMBIOS part of the config :geek:

Sorry @Graystarr I wasn't clear enough, I meant remove the SMBIOS and upload the EFI Folder here.

Im still a bit confused. Do I just go and remove the serial numbers from the config.plist then send it over?
those SMBIOS is fake one then the User can replace with new one if they think it's not safe. I don't bother to remove if they do then let them
will do it.

am I missing anything?
No, I’m not able to look at this until I get home later. I will re-attach your EFI some time tonight.

Is it just me, or has the latest NootedRed,kext really sped up Sonoma?!. Visually!, this isn't the same Sonoma I was looking at yesterday, Finder has a real viscosity to it, animations and transitions are incredibly smooth.

Don't harass the developers!.

Rolls eyes!... Anyway here we are, with the little information you have provided, other than your CPU is 6 cores, I ended with this, attached below.

1. Oof, your patches were light years out of date. fixed that.
2. I left your SMBIOS blank, I suggest iMacPro1,1 IMO!, and experience, it would just be better suited to someone of your experience.
3. PlatformInfo > Generic > ProcessorType > Number > 1537 to match your 6 core CPU. For 8 Core and above its... 3841.
4. You will need to add SSDT-CPUR to your EFI > OC > Kexts folder, Snapshot in Propertree and BOOM, your done.
5. I think I forgot something!.

Should be able to. Permissions haven't changed. I've refreshed them though so try again.
