Can you install Monterey on the SSD from another computer, and try to boot with the last working EFI?

Downloading!!!!! ;)

ZQ3ba0E.png

It will take a while to download and install, it's a Ryzen 1600AF, it's slow but steady, a rock 🤭

If I see that too much I will go to sleep and tomorrow we continue

Many thanks for the help. 🤗

@PoMpIs,

Yes sure!
If it helps you could add swd_panic=1 into the boot-arg to try and stop the rebooting.

@ExtremeXT @Middleman and all the other guys

I couldn't resist waiting if it works with Monterey..

And I bring good news, IF IT WORKS!!! :p

But the i225v network doesn't work... and the FENVI brcm43xx doesn't work either.

I have taken a lot of screenshots and a copy of IOREG

It works with this EFI... I have changed several things, and I have created a USBMap using Native classes so I don't need USBToolBox, but both methods work very well and my iPhone and iPad charge very quickly, and MacOS still sees the 7950x iGPU

And now I'm going to sleep, tomorrow we continue, today has been a great day

Thank you so much everyone 🤗

@PoMpIs,

It's great to hear you got the Monterey up and running! Is it stable? If so I'd love to see how the GB5 compares.
But honestly great work man great work! 👏👏👏

As for the LAN/WiFi that's easy to resolve. Just add e1000=0, remove any existing LAN kexts and add the following into your device properties for Intel I-225V:

Screen Shot 2022-10-03 at 7.29.01 AM.png

BT/WiFi - see if it works as native first if not add Brcm BT drivers including BluetoolFixup.kext, BrcmFirmwareData.kext & BrcmPatchRAM3.kext. Broadcom/Fenvi WiFi requires AirportBrcmFixup.kext.

Fenvi cards should work out of the box without any kexts.... I wonder why it doesn't...

It does not work!!! It is impossible for me, in this ryzen the i225v does not work, I have the 5900x and an alder lake that also have i225v and it works perfect both in monterey and in Ventura...

And the FENVI is native, I caught it from the Alder Laker to have internet on the ryzen since the i225v doesn't work, but it doesn't work on any PCIe port, in the boot I see it but MacOS doesn't do anything, instead the Bluetooth that the Fenvi has does works

Wow looks like I'm about to place my order now!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Is it stable so far?

Yes, it is stable, and it does not perform badly, but no network works and I do not have internet 😅,

Correct, and it doesn't work on any of the PCIe.

Connecting the iphone to the USB to share the internet doesn't work either... it connects and everything works, but sharing the iphone connection only works for 30 seconds, then the Ryzen stops having internet

@PoMpIs Does sleep mode work?

I just tried it, it doesn't work, it goes to sleep but when it wakes up it restarts

Can you send a PCIe dump from Hackintool with the NICs enabled/plugged in?

This is what you need???
Try using SSDTTime to make SSDT-Bridge for this path:
PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

@PoMpIs Try with this path: PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x8,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)/Pci(0x4,0x0)/Pci(0x0,0x0)

Also get a hardware report in HTML format from HWiNFO64.

Doesn't it have to do with AppleVTD which is not supported on amd hackintosh

Isn't that only for Aquantia NICs?

@PoMpIs Add this in DeviceProperties to fix Ethernet PciRoot(0x0)\/Pci(0x2,0x1)\/Pci(0x0,0x0)\/Pci(0x8,0x0)\/Pci(0x0,0x0)\/Pci(0x5,0x0)\/Pci(0x0,0x0)
type Dictionary, add a child type Data with name device-id and value F2150000. Make sure e1000=0 is in boot-args. You might need a PCI bridge for that path.
