I installed a Ryzen 9700 into a Asus Strix B650E-
F (latest BIOS) that was successfully booting Sequoia Beta 4. Using latest kexts, patches, etc. I was not really expecting it to boot on the first try and I was right. See screen shot attached. Has anyone else tried to Hackintosh a Ryzen 9000 series yet?

OK It works perfectly only the name Graphic Card is the RX 6950 XT but it does not matter. It will surely be repaired ....
Check in device properties in config plist and delete my spoof

I've done some initial tests and I'm satisfied. I'll do a PugetBench test for DaVinci.

@Pabo cinebench 23 could be a bit more (about 45000)
Have you the chance to test first two USB4 ports?
I cant have them working but i am very low skilled in USB mapping
These ports could be ASMEDIA manufacturer and i am curiosus if also with others mainboard having them...if there is a way to have them workijng well
Also Asus x870e Hero could have the same USB4 problem

Rear USB
2 x USB4® (40Gbps) port(s) - the data is not working-power supply only
1 x USB 20Gbps port(s)- works well
Front USB
1 x USB 20Gbps connector (supports USB Type-C® with up to 30W PD/QC4+)**- the data is not working-power supply only

Cinebench 23 maybe it's influenced by my graphics card Radeon RX 6800 ?

maybe you have to map well it, if it is not also an ASMEDIA one
for now with ASMEDIA No joy

Two of the three Type-C ports on the Rear I/O plate have ASMEDIA ASM4242 controllers, according to the user manual for the ASUS ProArt X870e Creator WiFi motherboard. See items 9 & 10 in the screenshot below.

That's something entirely different! We need to see if macOS contain a driver for the ASMedia ASM4242 controller and then check that the correct DEV-ID is in the driver.

What is the Device ID for your ASMedia Type-C controller(s), look in Hackintool on the PCIe tab as they should show. Better yet post a fully expanded screenshot of the PCIe tab (example below) and provide a copy of the 4 x files that are generated when you use the PCIe > Export icon (bottom right icon). These files don't contain any sensitive information so it is fine to share them online.

I think there were some investigations undertaken for USB4 controllers over at Tonymacx86, but I am not sure if they ever got the USB4 ports fully operational.

Vendor /Device ID's for the 2 x ASMedia USB4 controllers are as follows:

1b21:2425
1b21:2426

The only USB4 kext I could find in macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 is /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBHostFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleSynopsysUSB40XHCI.kext.

Obviously this is the USB4 driver for Apple's USB4 implementation on their ARM/Apple Silicon systems, and doesn't contain any drivers for an ASMedia UB4 device/controller.

I can't find any references to any Add-on or built-in USB4 controller/card working in macOS. Even on macRumours. The only kext/plugin in macOS is the Apple kext above.

So Power charging is maybe all that is possible at this time.

One thing I have noticed is that you have a E16 PCIe4 (Phison) NVME controller in among your PCIe devices. Hopefully this is not your macOS boot drive, as Phison NVMe controllers are known to be problematic when used as boot drives for macOS.

The other 6 x USB Controllers are all AMD. You may need to look at creating an SSDT- USB-Reset.aml for your system, as a couple of the controllers have identical names (XH00), or names that clash with Apple USB controllers, i.e. XHC1. The later may require an ACPI Patch to rename the controller from XHC1 to XHC_.

Linux shows those ports as Thunderbolt... May be worth tagging @CaseySJ here ;) Have you any experience of this device ID in your Thunderbolt travels?

Code:
Model: "ASMedia USB Controller"
Vendor: pci 0x1b21 "ASMedia Technology Inc."
Device: pci 0x2425
SubVendor: pci 0x1b21 "ASMedia Technology Inc."
SubDevice: pci 0x2425
Revision: 0x01
Driver: "thunderbolt"
Driver Modules: "thunderbolt"
Memory Range: 0xd0400000-0xd043ffff (rw,non-prefetchable)
Memory Range: 0xd0440000-0xd044ffff (rw,non-prefetchable)
IRQ: 44 (991 events)
Module Alias: "pci:v00001B21d00002425sv00001B21sd00002425bc0Csc03i40"
Driver Info #0:
Driver Status: thunderbolt is active
Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe thunderbolt"
Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown
Attached to: #18 (PCI bridge)

ASM4242 is for now officially an USB4 controller, waiting for ASMedia to obtain a full certification as a Thunderbolt 4 controller. So the problem is the same as for Maple Ridge, but on a worse level: Apple now makes it own Thunderbolt controllers, no longer uses third-party controllers, and does not include drivers for third-party controllers in macOS.

There's some limited joy in trying to pass Maple Ridge for Titan Ridge. But passing an ASM4242 for Titan Ridge…

Hi. OCLP already in your OC. Just set everything to work?
OCLP is an app you have to run, then you can activate kext and block my EFI has (they are disabled)
i suggest to read here or in other places useful to understand how to use OCLP:

Does your X670e Hero have an AS Media USB4 controller or an Intel Maple Ridge?
