Hi new from Eastern NC USA

Over the past couple of years I have done 3 desktops and one laptop Hackintosh , I have to admit it was a lot of fun. Took some research and trial and error. I have an extreme case of ADD and dyslexia so I'm easily distracted. LOL Anyway I had an older AMD PC I built about 12 years ago that in its prime it was pretty sweet. I want to try mac os on it now cause it just sits in my office not being used and it's a shame to let it sit around collecting dust.
I started tinkinering on it tueday morning for about an hour and didn't get a sucessful post to OC picker but it's my first stab at AMD. I plann on jumpng back in it this weekend. wish me luck. If anyone has any advice I sure would appreciate it. If posting efi.config is allowed I'll put it up. I'm sure it's gonna need work

I have been playing around with my old AMD FX 8350 system (again) and decided to see if I could get it running macOS Big Sur.

I used OpenCore 0.7.6 and followed the Dortania AMD Bulldozer guide when creating the EFI folder.

I created my macOS Big Sur USB installer using the following CreateInstallMedia Terminal command:
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Big\ Sur.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled

Installation was slow, with many pauses and some initial Kernel Panics during the various installation stages. However, the end result was Big Sur...
