I installed a Ryzen 9700 into a Asus Strix B650E-
F (latest BIOS) that was successfully booting Sequoia Beta 4. Using latest kexts, patches, etc. I was not really expecting it to boot on the first try and I was right. See screen shot attached. Has anyone else tried to Hackintosh a Ryzen 9000 series yet?

Use same EFI with this config, (you have a 9950x so 16 cores/32 threads in total, previous EFI was done for a 9900x)
thie EFI produce a folder (SYSREPORT) and a debug where we can see your motherboard MMIO Area
Hi,

I just tried your EFI and applied the new config.plis file. I can now boot to the OC select OS sceen, after select the USB (actual SSD box to install mac 15.2), the system show a ton of log then got restart. I attach a 2 of logs file and the system report here. Can you please take a look if you have time.

Thanks a lot.

@kh4inguyen attached are custom acpi patches based on your dsdt done by CorpNewt AKA CorpGhost on AMD- OSX Discord
I added them in your previous config.plist
Remember to reset nvram in opencore boot menu and try

Thanks a lot. Im now able to boot to the install screen, but somehow after format the SSD (APFS), i select the SSD and the screen stuck here. Im still able to move the mouse but after selected the disk, notthing happened

Is that regarding to the problem that i don't have internet? Or i just need to do anything with the SSD config?

I've got two Asus B650E-F board, BIOS 2613, same BIOS settings, same graphics card. One has a Ryzen 9700 and boots Sequoia just fine. The other has a Ryzen 9900X that has been very problematic. @Shanee was very helpful in making modifications to Open Core to solve a problem with core counts. I still can't get this thing to boot Sequoia. I've attached my EFI along with the debug output hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can figure out why it won't boot and make some suggestions because I have hit a brick wall with this one. TIA.
I had given up on this for a few weeks. Has anyone had success with a Ryzen 9900X? It just goes into a continuous boot loop.

@Ejh4286 Looks like an issue with X86PlatformPlugin. Are you using SSDT_CPUR at all? Also have you set MMIO?

Good afternoon everyone

I currently have a ryzen 5600x and I want to upgrade to ryzen 9950x. Is it currently supported? Can anyone recommend a decent motherboard for this processor that is compatible with hackintosh?

Hi i have had an ASUS x670E hero and now a X870e Proart with a 9950x
both are fine
More simple Proart because it doesnt need of additive ACPI patches to do

I'm interested in the X870e Proart.. does everything work correctly? Are there any problems with sound and ethernet?

Thank you very much

Hey @fabiosun - I've just received my Asus X870E Proart and starting to put together an EFI for this build. I've been making all the USB maps and SSDT patches, just started to test it tonight, although I keep getting crash dumps. Logs show at least 2 ACPI tables that fail to load. I was about to start investigating myself but if you have an EFI that boots would you mind sharing as a reference point?

Great than you - don't know why I didn't get a search hit on that thread - I'll take a look later and report back on 9800X3D.
