I installed a Ryzen 9700 into a Asus Strix B650E-
F (latest BIOS) that was successfully booting Sequoia Beta 4. Using latest kexts, patches, etc. I was not really expecting it to boot on the first try and I was right. See screen shot attached. Has anyone else tried to Hackintosh a Ryzen 9000 series yet?

No it won't work. You need a discrete AMD GPU for macOS with that CPU.

Even that won't work?
No that won’t work. Did you read the list of CPU/APU’s that NootedRed.kext supports?

The entire Vega Raven ASIC family (Ryzen 1xxx (Athlon Silver/Gold) to 5xxx, and 7x30 series).

Your Ryzen 9 9950X isn’t included in the list, as it doesn’t contain AMD Vega iGPU.

EFI HP Pavilion 15-cw1092 AMD RYZEN 3 3300U AMD Radeon VegaAvance EFI

The text in the image describes the specifications of an HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cw1092lm. Here are the key details:
Processor: AMD Ryzen™ 3 3300U
Graphics: AMD Radeon™ Vega 8
Display: 15.6-inch diagonal HD (1600 x 900)
Storage: 128 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Memory: 12 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM
Battery: Up to 9 hours of mixed use, up to 7 hours of video playback
Based on these specifications, the laptop appears to be a good quality budget-friendly option for general use tasks like browsing the internet, checking email, and watching videos. However, it may not be the best choice for more demanding tasks like gaming or video editing.

The latest documentation says its support RDNA but not RDNA3. I am not sure about RDNA2.

Isn't all 9000 series have RDNA2 iGPU. ?
This is my first AMD.
I own a MacBook M2, but I want to create a powerful mini PC based on macos.

@Edhawk is right, the iGPU on these last two generations of AMD Processors are not supported. If you want to create a mini PC to run macOS then check out the success stories for a few examples or if you want to use a 9000 series processor buy an ITX board and a supported AMD Graphics card.

I've got two Asus B650E-F board, BIOS 2613, same BIOS settings, same graphics card. One has a Ryzen 9700 and boots Sequoia just fine. The other has a Ryzen 9900X that has been very problematic. @Shanee was very helpful in making modifications to Open Core to solve a problem with core counts. I still can't get this thing to boot Sequoia. I've attached my EFI along with the debug output hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can figure out why it won't boot and make some suggestions because I have hit a brick wall with this one. TIA.
Thanks for your EFI.
My CPU is 9700X, Motherboard is Asus B650M-F.So,how to change cpuname? Thanks.
Also,USB mapping kext does not work.
Thanks for your EFl.

@Ejh4286 if you can and like to try these two config.plist
This is my EFI adapted to your 9900x, it uses ACPI patches done for my HERO mtherboard from CorpGhost, in your E-F motherboard it should be useful only the first one (this patches are useful to avoid patching all DSDT or to avoid to use an older one)

this below is a config.plist based to your previous dsdt and ACPi ssdt patch
only to overwrite to my previous EFI

If you use it post a video of booting process and debug log both tests produce
Thank you

OMG.. You have a monster :D I will try your EFI this Thursday and let you know.
I don't remember which EFI you will try
check if sys teport is enabled to see your x870e ACPI and also (obvusly a debug log for your MMIO Area)

About 45000 for Multiscore
That even greater than my machine on window which only about 40000 in multicore

Use same EFI with this config, (you have a 9950x so 16 cores/32 threads in total, previous EFI was done for a 9900x)
thie EFI produce a folder (SYSREPORT) and a debug where we can see your motherboard MMIO Area

When you compare the Cinebench Multi-core score above against a Ryzen 9 5900X that really is a Monster of a system.
