CPU:
7950X
which settings were made in Opencore ?

There are 2 ACPI table load failures:

We can ignore this one for now:

kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) [_PRW]
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) Namespace lookup failure, AE_ALREADY_EXISTS
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/dswload-462)
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Exception: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS,
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) During name lookup/catalog
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/psobject-310)
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Exception: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS,
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (SSDT:EXTGPP00) while loading table
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/tbxfload-319)

But this is coming from our SSDT-UPXX-DISABLE.aml and it indicates that PCI0.GPP7.UPXX was not found even though you have the ACPI patch enabled.

kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Error:
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) [\SB.PCI0.GPP7.UPXX]
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/dswload-292)
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND,
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) During name lookup/catalog
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/psobject-310)
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND,
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (SSDT:SSDTUPXX) while loading table
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) (20160930/tbxfload-319)
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) ACPI Error:
kernel: (AppleACPIPlatform) 2 table load failures, 22 successful

I’ve stepped out for lunch; be back soon. My plan is to test the patch on my X670E system because we have the same device tree structure.

@CaseySJ When you get back, show us a picture of your system Please

Haha, my system is currently in an open dissection form. The guts are spilling over while I work on the remaining issues with macOS. But I can post a picture nevertheless!

@ManuelB

Please try the following test. I know it's getting late in Germany so it's okay to do this tomorrow as well.
  • Use the attached config.plist
  • Copy the attached SSDT to EFI/OC/ACPI folder
No need to make any changes to config.plist for the new SSDT. I already made the changes.

Reboot and post IORegistryExplorer file.

@CaseySJ it is in NZXT H7 Elite
By the way, have you connected the NZXT's RGB controller to the Gigabyte motherboard using both USB and A-RGB headers? I know the Kraken is connected, but I did not see the NZXT's smart hub.

This log is better! The new ACPI patch is working. Please run IORegistryExplorer and post the IOReg file once more.

What did you change in the ACPI patch?

Actually, even my ACPI patch did not change GPP7.UP00 to UPXX. Or did it? SSDT-UPXX-DISABLE loads now, but UPXX does not appear in IOReg.

Let's try this again:

@CaseySJ & @ExtremeXT
I found the following: WLAN works after the start, but only after about 10 seconds before the menu item and audio point are not available. Bluetooth works a bit .... I can't connect my MXKeys, for example, it is displayed but when connecting. ..nothing happens .
If I deactivate Bluetooth, the menu disappears.. I then go to another menu item and then back to Bluetooth, it's there again. (see picture)
and if I deactivate wifi I can no longer activate it.
BT music only works with Speedkeeper.

but now the hibernation goes :-) Yeah

Try replacing AirportItlwm with Itlwm and using HeliPort to connect to Wi-Fi.

@ManuelB,

Try the following:
  • Disable SSDT-UPXX-DISABLE.aml
  • Enable the first three SSDT-USB-GA-... files
  • If we cannot get USB Controllers D and E to work, I'll modify UTBMap.kext manually and you can use it with USBToolBox.kextScreenshot 2022-11-19 at 4.05.17 AM.png
