Sorry, I must have done something stupid with the OC 0.8.2 folder, as it should work.

This is a copy of my 0.8.1 OC folder, with the Serial etc. removed and it has been set to run Catalina. Try this EFI 0.8.1 FX folder instead, it was copied from my AMD USB pen drive, so I know it works on my FX system. As before just add your Serial etc and it should work.

Are you using OC in Legacy Mode? Where you have a Boot file alongside the EFI folder. So the Boot file is found and this brings the EFI folder settings in to play.

No, I was just checking that you weren't using legacy mode. As that was the only thing that came to mind when you said you still had the black screen.

When you press the F8 key to bring up the Boot Menu, are you selecting the UEFI partition on the USB?

Would it be beneficial to try a OpenCore debug EFI.?

Post a copy of the Debug EFI you created. So we can see what you are using.

Try this EFI I have made the following changes:
  • Replaced SSDT-EC-USBX-AMD.aml with SSDT-EC.aml & SSDT-USBX.aml
  • Removed GenericUSBXHCI.kext
  • Changed config.plist to match above changes.
  • Set DisableWatchdog quirk as True.
  • Checked the rest of the config.plist, all seems to be correct for an FX AMD system.
You just need to add your Serial Number etc to the config before you use it.

Yes, I can rebuild using the latest release 0.8.3.

Remind me, which Display connector are you using from the GTX 760?

Do you have the option to connect via DP or DVI? If so try them instead of the HDMI, as the later can be a bit funky with macOS. Black Screen issues are more common with HDMI than the other two types pf display connector.

Display Adapters are to be avoided if at all possible, as they need to be Active adapters to convert the display signal to HDMI.
