macOS Sequoia

I know Shaneee wants you to create another thread but see if this helps. Opencore, kexts and patches updated, all bluetooth and wireless kexts deleted
3Q Thank you for resolving my issue. The Security model was set to Disable, which caused the inability to perform OTA updates

He is talking about the Kernel/ Patches you need to run macOS on an AMD machine. You adjust the core count depending on how many cores your processor has.... brain fart maybe?

Ah ok, thanks mate :)
So as I thought then, in my situation - waiting till a full release is out then installing it, I don't need to worry as the cores are already setup in my existing EFI, then I just update OpenCore and download all the latest patches.

Thanks for confirming this :)

I kind of did and kind of didn't. The patches have been updated so they will run Sequoia, if you don't use the updated version currently in Beta then your system won't boot.

Sorry for being thick mate, I appreciate your time and effort in even responding/helping me!
Just so it's simple, if I wait for the proper release of Sequoia, and download the latest supported patches/Open Core version, transfer my existing EFI with the aforementioned updates appled kext/OpenCore wise? Then it'll work right? Ala every version before that I've been using without an issue?
I.E. don't change what isn't broken - as in my methodology, that's worked for me this whole time with each macos version?
IF that means using beta kexts, as I have before (which worked) then I don't see an issue arising?

Hey, no worries my brother, I'm rubbish with my wording to be honest, so it was probably me misleading you into nonsense haha! Thanks for your help, genuinely.
In a stupid social media obsessed world that destroys forums, I welcome any input, I'm far from smart myself, and everyone makes mistakes... So any help to help the AMD OS X brothers continue to build hackintoshes, is fine by me holmes :)
