Hey guys,

This is my first time posting here. It's been a long time since I've used a Hackintosh (the last was Sierra), and I was thinking of giving it another try.
I have some issues posting (see the attached screenshot).
I've also attached the EFI folder that I have been using along with the OpenCore logs.

Configuration:
CPU: Ryzen 9 7950x
MB: MSI x670 MAG ACE
RAM: 96GB Crucial 5600 DDR5
NVME: Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

Bios settings:
Secure Boot: disabled
CSM: disabled
RBAR: enabled

Any input help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yeah, that's one of the NVMe drives that is incompatible for use as a macOS boot drive. It uses a proprietary (Phoenix) NVME controller that has issues with Trim and other aspects when used as a macOS boot drive.

You would be better served using a Western Digital SN850X or SN770 NVMe drive. Western Digital & SanDisk NVMe controllers are fully compatible for use as a macOS boot drive.

The Samsung drives are fine for use as Windows or Linux boot drives and as Data storage drives, but not as macOS boot drives.

Replace the Samsung drive and see if that helps.

A 'Clean' Installation would have been a better option, as you may be copying over any issues you added to the installation on the Samsung drive. As you have a working EFI folder, a clean installation wouldn't have been problematic.

Make sure you remove any entries related to the Samsung drive in your EFI folder and config.plist, i.e. SSDT or DeviceProperties.

I didn't have anything added for the Samsung NVME in Device Properties and/or config.plist. Let's see how it works. If I will still have issues I would make a clean installation.
Thanks for the heads up!
