I'm trying to install Sonoma on an M2 drive but am having trouble. Likely EFI issues, but I can't seem to enable verbose mode in Opencore for some reason.

I've attached the EFI from my working Ventura EFI, if some kind soul could take a peek or perhaps provide some guidance around enabling verbose it would be greatly appreciated. I've tried adding "-v" to the boot-args in my config.plist but no dice.

TIA.

Try this revised EFI folder, see if this helps.

I have made some changes to better suit your B550 system, in line with what I have set for my 2 x B550 Hacks.
  • SSDT-CPUR.aml and SSDT-PLUG-ALT.aml do the same thing, i.e CPU core fix. So no need for both to be present and enabled.
  • I removed the UTBDefault.kext, as this is only required when discovering the USB ports, not when you are using a custom UTBMap.kext.
  • I changed a couple of quirks, to better match the Dortania Ryzen guide.
  • I changed SecureBootModel from Default to Disabled.
  • I have added the Verbose boot argument to your config.plist.
