Thank you all for this information and hard work. I have an already installed opencore Big Sur. I'd like to use one of the posted EFIs and replace the existing one from my MacPro to my AM5 PC. I see most of the posts here talk about Ventura install, just wondering if these would work on Big Sur too.

Please backup existing USBMap.kext and try the modified version attached here. It fixes Port-Count in a couple of places. This may not affect the wake-from-sleep issue, but it's worth trying.
You can use the same EFI for Monterey, Ventura & Sonoma.
Only the AirportItlwm.kext needs to be different for each version major of macOS. So you would need three separate versions of the kext, one for each macOS version, if you were to use the EFI to boot the last three versions of macOS. Each kext would need the MinKernel & MaxKernel entry edited, so only the kext required for each version would be injected by OpenCore when booting one of the three OS’s.
I should point out that use of the OCLP Root Patch prevents the use of APFS Replicator, which means Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper are unable to make bootable backups.
I'm new around here and I ussing MSI X670e Pro Carbon and Ryzen 9 7900x3d with a RX6800XT. I used the EFI pasted by the guys and set up some parameters but I have been trying a week without get it works. Any one can help me with it? This is the last log got. I disabled the secureboot and RezibleBar too in order to try another thing more. Always get the same result stuck. I'm triying to install Sonoma, but i don't pretty sure it works with the last ryzen.
You can find other setting tunning step by step following t he dortania guid December 04th and the last one tried today with the EFI used by our colleague
At the OpenCore boot menu we can press and release CMD-V to enable boot logs, then select the option to install macOS. Please try that and post a photo of the screen when the boot process freezes.

I've used Carbon Copy Cloner in the past — but I remember they had some issues with creating bootable copies after the release of Big Sur / APFS & I have not used it since.
I still have a licence for it — is Carbon Copy Cloner a reliable bootable cloner again or just a backup tool?
I have 2 x 2TB in my Hackintosh — the second one is Windows but I am willing to just wipe it and use it as a bootable clone before doing any major upgrades.
When you say "PCIe" does not work, what does that mean?
Regarding Thunderbolt/USB4, are you referring to Thunderbolt hot plug? Or Thunderbolt devices simply do not connect and work even when connected and powered on before boot?
Finally, please download and run IORegistryExplorer (from here) and post the IOReg file (File -> Save As...).
