The situation is as follows, I have monterey booting fine on this bootloader, but when I try to update or install a clean sonoma the bootloader just stops, and no problems are detected by debug

Which version of OpenCore? Latest cpu patches? All kexts updated? Monterey > Sonoma is a big jump and things need to be updated, especially the cpu patches.

What system are you using? Motherboard, CPU, dGPU, WiFi/BT, Ethernet etc?

Without this information it is nearly impossible to tell what is correct and what is wrong with your OC setup. As a quick review of your config.plist doesn't show anything untoward.

I've seen similar situations on the forum, but I never realized whether he solved them or not.

Try this OpenCore 0.9.5 EFI.

See if this gets you any further after the Verbose Text has finished.

I am assuming you have set your bios correctly, i.e. used the settings shown in the link below to configure your system bios.

# AMD Bios Settings
  • I have set Booter > Quirks > ResizeAppleGpu Bars to '0'.
  • I have not added the npci=0x3000 boot argument.

I tried with your efi - the result is the same, both on Install Sonoma and on Mac install, with Monterey logged in normally

I also attach bios settings, maybe I made a mistake somewhere.

The Bios settings shown in the screenshots above look ok.
