OC Boot failed - Already started

I have been running a GB X570 w 3900x for a few months on OC 0.5.5. with Catalina 15.3. I'm attempting to update to 0.5.7 in advance of a 15.4 update, but am stuck on the OC update. I have updated boot/kext/drivers consistent with 5.7 and updated my plist and sanity checked consistent with 5.7. Things go (I think) well until the message "ReRun executed" with some suspicious complaints after OcShowSimpleBootMenu.

I'm sure I've missed something basic, but at a loss as to where to look and could use some pointers. Full debug console attached FWIW.

Thanks for looking. I'm pretty sure I did; I Just double checked my efi folder and BOOT/BOOTx64.efi shows a modify date of April 6 and is 33kb which I'm showing matches that provided with 0.5.7. FWIW, I do get to a picker and was able to reset NVRAM. No joy.

Yeah, probably no point in putting more effort into 0.5.7

I just re-did the update to 0.5.8, this time from scratch but with the same result. I have latest copies of all kexts, drivers, boot - consistent with 0.5.8. Went through every line of the plist following the guide. Double checked bios settings for grins. The only complaint from sanity check is "3rd party drives". The only difference now is that I'm not getting console debug messages in a test file, even though my plist/DEBUG settings are the same as my work with 0.5.7.

* edit * - changing the order in which boot-args are listed in NVRAM:ADD:7C4... to put debug=0x100 immediately after -v has brought my console dump back. Now attached

Everything has moved forward, yet I get the same basic fault of "Boot failed - already started". Seems I must be missing something basic. The system continues to boot fine off the 0.5.5 EFI

Sorry, no. I went through things with a fine-toothed comb setting up 0.5.8, but by results are the same as 0.5.7; nested run not allowed. No one Seems interested, I’ve gone back to running 0.5.5 and being down-rev with Catalina. Gotta get some work done!
