macOS Big Sur 11.6 update went smoothly

I just updated my Ryzentosh to macOS Big Sur 11.6 and the update went smoothly

I just haven't had the time to swap the GPUs so I'm still using my old R9 270X

Can the Big Sur 11.5 to 11.6 update be done easily with the "Software Update" function (exactly as if an actual Macintosh was being used, instead of a Hackintosh) ?

Or do you have to download the 11.6 OS, make a bootable USB key disk, etc. etc. ?

Just update and all will be just fine. There’s no need to make a bootable installer unless you just want to clean instal anyway.
