Who's the brave one who's going to test the new update?

My money is on Shanee ;)

No hack will manage it just now. OpenCore needs updated to support it first.

Gonna take the risk. I'll update y'all. I'm setting up time machine rn.

I am still on 11.6.6 because of ethernet not working! 😜

Further testing to come late tomorrow as it’s 01:29 here and I’m busy tomorrow

So it looks like the guys on IM have managed to boot Ventura on the Intel hacks. The trick is to set 'AvoidRuntimeDefrag' to NO or '0' and also -lilubetaall in boot-args and the OS should boot.

Don't look like I'll go to this. Have no desire for my desktop to look and act like a n iPhone, which I also don't own. My choices for video cards looks like they just expanded, Linux and windows will work with anything.
I don't make a living with macOS, this was all just for fun and I have found solutions with Linux to replace what I was doing with macOS.

Do you know if Ventura will support Navi24 GPUs?

The Release Notes don't show any added support. Apple usually doesn't add support for GPUs they don't sell in/for their Macs and it is highly unlikely Apple will use the Navi 24 in the Intel Mac Pro.

I tried to install Ventura without success 😭 with Opencore 0.8.2, VirtualSMC 1.3.0, Lilu 1.6.1, WhateverGreen 1.6.0.

Runs pretty sweet tbh. EFI just for Ventura on a USB drive. Just remember, this is beta software and we don't provide support. Test at your own risk.

Would you be able to list the changes done to your efi to boot? Can't seem to get past apple logo though I have since updated my kexts and am going to try updating opencore to 0.8.2

I don't know how you made it. I've disabled the proper things. But I'm still stuck in here.

Kexts are up to date. Compiled the latest versions.
