Good afternoon all,

I'm so glad that I came across this site being a longterm Hackintosh builder, but previously on the Intel platform. After running my last multi OS booting desktop build for too many years, I decided it was time to have a total refresh, and went fully AMD. Very happy with its Windows performance, but itching to have a fully operational AMD OS X system with the latest mac OS system possible that will run with my hardware. I will be very grateful for any help members will be able to provide, and happy to help where ever I can. At present I have the Aorus X670E Master motherboard, with the AMD 7950X3D processor, a Merc 310 7900 XTX gpu, with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, all snug in a Hyte Y70 case. The first ssd boots into Windows 10 at present 9 due to a couple of VR apps that don't yet work with Windows 11). and I have a second ssd installed in order to build my Hackintosh, and dual boot. Am I getting way ahead of myself, or has anyone else had success with similar components? I'd love to hear from you, and look forward to becoming a part of this great community.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the AMD RX 7900 XTX GPU isn’t compatible with macOS. None of the RX 7000 series GPUs are supported in macOS as Apple have never used them, so there are no drivers available for any of these newer cards.

The RX 6000 series of GPUs are the last ones supported by macOS. See this link for supported AMD GPUs.
