John's Asus X570 I Gaming EFI (Works on MOST Asus X570 & B550 Motherboards)

My Hackintosh was damaged on the moving truck. After a few days of failing to even get it to boot, bought an M2 Studio Ultra and new Odyssey G9 49" Oled monitor.

Pulled the drives out of the Hackintosh to salvage data. The primary drive with MacOS was physically damaged. Once removed the Windows/Linux drive booted just fine.

Given Apple's intent to transition all future OS exclusive to Apple Silicon and the habit of removing older Intel Mac architecture in Sonoma and Sequoia, this seems like a reasonable time to abandon the Hackintosh.

It has been a fun journey. I have a great deal of appreciation and admiration for the brilliant people who built and supported Opencore. Along with all of those who have contributed to community along the way.

MacOS 14 (Sonoma) - OpenCore 01.0.0 Release (May 9th, 2024)
MacOS (Sonoma) 14.5 Beta 5

Word of warning:

  • If you do not have a working wifi or ethernet solution for Sonoma hold off on updating your primary install. Possibly there will be some fix in the future that does not require OCLP and disabling SIPs.
  • BCM94360NG & BCM94360CS2 wifi no longer supported
  • AppleIGB works

As always, Reset NVRAM after making changes to the EFI.
Hi, I used your efi, I attach it below, it did the whole procedure as you can see from photos 1,2,3, but in photo 2 you can notice that it didn't load the license terms for me, I don't know if this has an effect. Despite this I installed the system, but I encountered the following problem: gray screen (see pictures 4,5), as if the GPU is not seen well (I think). the fact is that if I try to open something it goes extremely slow and can't do anything
My Build
CPU ryzen 5600x
Motherboard X570Aorus-Elite (No wifi) Bios:F40d
Ram:32gb 3600 MHz
GPU: ASRock Rx6900xt
SSD: 128Gb
