First time(s) trying to make a hackintosh on my Ideapad 3 (Ryzen 7 7730U, Radeon iGPU, LENOVO LNVNB161216 Motherboard, 16GB DDR4). Everything I've tried has only gotten me to the same EXITBS screen and never past that. I've also tried everything on the Dortania Troubleshooting guide. EFI attached. Pls help
Your OpenCore setup appears to be using files from different OC releases. This is wrong and a sure way for the OC boot to fail. Your BOOTx64.efi, OpenCore.efi, the drivers and Tools should all be from the same OC release, i.e. with the same date and time stamp.
You have NootedRed.kext and WhateverGreen.kext in your /EFI/OC/Kexts folder, this should never be the case. As you are using an AMD IGPU for graphics in macOS you should only have NootedRed.kext in this folder.
You are missing an essential AMD kext, i.e. AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext. Without this kext your system won't boot to the installer.
Have a look at this Success Story for an AMD system using a similar Ryzen 7000 series CPU/IGPU combo.
I am just confirming that I have installed macOS Ventura on this Gen Machine Ren 7000 series mini PC, after a few component changes to the stock system.
The component changes included:
Replacement of the Kingspec NX series 512GB NVMe drive with a Crucial P3 Plus 1TB NVMe drive, for use as macOS boot drive.
Replacement of the Realtek RTL8852B WiFi/BT card with an Intel AX200NGW WiFi/BT card.
Addition of Integral 512GB M.2 NVMe 2242 PCIe Gen3 x4 SSD, for use as Windows boot drive.
Addition of DDDR4 8GB 3200MHz RAM (spare from defunct laptop) to go with existing 16GB module...
Hello, thanks for responding. I tried fixing everything you suggested (remade the EFI and config with OpenCore 1.0.4, included AppleMCEReporterDisabler, removed whatevergreen), but it still gives EXITBS. EFI included below. Any more suggestions I could try?
You don't have any WiFI/BT or Ethernet kexts in your OC setup, so how do you plan to connect to the Internet?
You don't have any kexts to enable the builtin keyboard or trackpad, are you using an external USB keyboard and mouse?
I have edited your EFI from the post above, to better match what I would expect to be present for an AMD laptop. Try it and see if you get any further along with the OC boot and macOS installation.
Hey there, I tried the EFI you gave me and it still gives me EXITBS, the only difference being that this time, after choosing the "USB stick (dmg)" option, it goes black for about 10 seconds before giving EXITBS, compared to my EFI which gave EXITBS almost instantly. Logs attached. Thanks for the help by the way. Could it be an issue with my system?
I have assumed that you have set the bios to match the requirements for running macOS. See the link below for the settings you should use with an AMD system.
The thing is my laptop's bios is very basic. I tried looking for all of the settings listed in the Dortania guide already, but I could only find and modify Secure Boot to off. And as for Above 4G decoding, I added "npci=0x3000" to the bios args as a replacement. Is there any workaround for the BIOS settings?

Myself and others here have used this tool to increase VRAM and change other options, such as Above 4G Decoding that are hidden by the system manufacturer.
Sorry for late reply, tried it but couldn't find most of the options listed in the guide (yes, i did search everywhere, in every section and category) so I don't really know what else I can do to get it working at this point. Thanks for everything, cheers
