I’m trying to install macOS Monterey on my AMD laptop using OpenCore Simplify, but I get a black screen during the installer boot.
The system starts and displays many lines of output. After a while, the screen goes completely black and nothing else happens. There’s no reboot or kernel panic—just a black screen.
My setup:
Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 15ARH05
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650
OpenCore Simplify: Latest version
macOS: Monterey
Has anyone managed to boot Monterey on an AMD laptop using OpenCore Simplify, or has advice for resolving this black screen issue?
