Apple have once again changed something that affects booting macOS on non Apple Hardware. However there is a simple fix. AppleMCEReporterDisabler.kext is required again to boot as something changed with the SMC. So for the time being include this kext in your EFI/Config to boot if you plan on installing the beta. Credit to Pavo for finding this information.

Thanks,
Shaneee

Finally I did!

I'm on Monterey 12.3.

Here's my edited deviceproperties.
My 6900XT is "PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 6900XT 16GB GDDR6 AXRX 6900XT 16GBD6-3DHE/OC [PCIExp 16GB]"

According to this guide(
),
Now I'm trying about Power Tuning.

"originalW6900X.plist" changes from 6900XT to W6900X,
"Power Tuned W6900X.plist" changes from 6900XT to W6900X with Power Limit from 281W to 325W.

According to this URL(https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs),
AppleALC.kext supports ALC 888.

Please change Voodoohda.kext to AppleALC.kext (off course edit kernel->add->) ,
and Add bootargs "alcid=1".

If still not works, then try alcid=2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 27, 28, or 29.

My XFX 6800xt was scoring 193k/126k on 12.2.1 but now is scoring 185k/115k on 12.3.1... I was trying this modification for the past 2 weeks and it wasn't working, the only thing that I was able to do was disable the Zero-RPM fan. I'm back again to 192k/126k after using morepowertool via windows that have more options than just changing the power. After that you can extract the registry data from regedit then inject the hex values that shows under PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable in the OpenCore config.plist.

There's no need to inject the framebuffers, change the model name or whatsoever.

@Pavo and @Shaneee much appreciated , I was struggling for a few days to update from 12.2.1 to 12.3.1.

Don't want to start a whole new thread but the new Monterey release 12.6.2 installed without a hitch in about 30 minutes with two reboots on my system. Now that Ventura has reached 13.1 I think I'm gonna take the plunge.
