I updated OC to 0.8.5, as well as the KExts, but my Ventura installation is stuck after the first reboot. I have to reset the PC, then boot again from my SSD drive, which reverts to the old Monterey installation.

I didn’t have the time yet to investigate into this issue.

Have you updated the AMD Patches ?

Hi,

After long time.

Do anyone have Universal Control support?
My SMBios: MacPro 7,1
OS: Monetary.
Opencore: 0.8.3
Gigabyte x570 pro wifi.

Has anyone had success with Ventura? It hangs on first boot. A return to Monterrey 12.6 was possible.

Hi all,

Been away a long time and miles behind the times running mojave.

Does anyone have a working Ventura EFI they can post?

I'm running an Aorus Pro X570, Ryzen 3950X and GPU is a Radeon 5900XT and a couple of m.2 ssds that all hardware wise.

Thanks x

@LouW Probieren Sie es einfach aus und wenn Sie anfangen, was ich annehme... Mit einer neuen Seriennummer und Update Kexte Viel GlĂĽck

Please could you send your EFI? Thanks
Hi, this is working for me. Successfully updated to Ventura with it.
Has the mausi appleigb intel ethernet driver which seems to work fine.
All seems good but no joy with DRM for gpu which doesn't bother me.

Don't forget to add serial number etc where it says CHANGEME

Good luck.

For DRM, make sure you're using MacPro7,1 SMBIOS and try disabling WhateverGreen if on Navi.

trying a fresh install with Ventura 13.1, can finish first step installation from USB but I get reboot starting the second step installation from disk.
messed around with open core trying to troubleshoot things from Windows (kext updates, kernel patches, strings, etc) for sure config must be adjusted.
I attach my 0.8.7 EFI and opencore log seeking for help, my specs in signature below.
many thanks

Perhaps you can try these two arguments

thanks for suggestion, applied the two arguments but still same behaviour and no go
I had a similar problem and was able to install a few days ago, here is my EFI in case it helps. you need to change the core count from 16 to 12 (10 to 0C for your CPU) in the kernel patches (I also have a few Bluetooth kexts that you may not need)
