Hi everyone,

I have a couple of questions regarding the current state of GPU support and potential workarounds.

1. TinyCorp Nvidia Drivers
Has anyone heard any fresh news regarding the tinycorp Nvidia RTX drivers for ARM macOS? I'm wondering if there is any hope that they might compile these for Intel/x86 architecture as well?

My goal is to potentially use this for an AMD Hackintosh setup. From what I’ve seen so far, it seems the current support is strictly for AI/Compute workloads (no display output/headless) and requires an external GPU enclosure to work. It’s a shame we can’t get full graphical support yet.

2. Radeon eGPU for Hackintosh
Since native Nvidia support is unlikely for display output, does anyone have experience using an external Radeon GPU specifically for Hackintosh?

  • Is it "plug and play" with the right kexts?
  • Which GPU would you recommend in the sub-$250 range?
Context:
I am currently running an RTX 5090 in my main rig, and I simply don't have the physical clearance inside the case to slot in a secondary internal AMD card. That is why I am looking into eGPU solutions or hoping for a miracle with the Nvidia drivers.

Thanks in advance for any info!
