Hello folks,
My sequoia on the configuration from the signature is fully operational. My audio is on alcid=11. In System Settings I can see and hear both interal speakers and microphone on Logi 270. When I try audio from Youtube on safari I do not hear anything. When I try MS Teams I cannot see my internal speakers listed as a source of sound.
Question: Have you encountered anything like this and were you able to fix it under sequoia? The same speakers worked well under Ventura.

Which version of AppleALC.kext are you using?
Which Realtek Audio Codec does your Gigabyte motherboard use?
Do you have any other entries in your OpenCore config.plist related to the Realtek audio codec, other than alcid=11?
Web browsers on AMD Hack's can be a bit hit and miss.
Have you tried using FireFox to see if the audio works on YouTube?
Your 'Logi 270' is I assume the USB Logitech C270 Webcam.
The Webcam may be connected to a USB port that is incorrectly configured in your USBPorts/USBMap or UTBMap kext.
Have you tried connecting it to another USB port, does it behave the same in the other port?

1. Apple ALC version 1.9.7.
2. ALC892
3. No I only have it on the command line under NVRAM (no devices)
4. They all exhibit the same behaviour. Same for Chrome, Safari and FF
5. Yes it is Logitech 270 and it works fine. I only had problems with out sound
Here's what I found:
  • When I am in system preferences, I can see internal speakers and I can test my out sound
  • When I am in browser, Apple MIDI or teams, I do not have internal speakers as option.
  • My Options are: Digital sound and 2 HDMI monitors.
  • Luckily in one of the monitors I had an analog jack which I could use. I needed to specify this monitor HDMI connection as out port and use it for analog speakers.

Remaining question: is it normal now that analog internal speakers disappear from output options? I guess, Teams and Browsers are not controlled by apple.
Thanks a lot for making me go through the list again

No it is not normal for Internal Speakers to disappear from the Sound Output options.

If the audio codec is set with the correct layout ID then the Green coloured audio jack, which I assume your speakers are connected with, should work in any/every app.

I would need to review your EFI folder to see if there is anything untoward that needs attention before saying this is purely an application issue.

The OP is using Sequoia, so AppleHDA.kext is present and enabled in the OS.

Also there are better/less expensive ways to fix builtin audio in Tahoe, than using the MaLad0n fix. Which I am not even sure will work correctly on an AMD Hack.
