Hello,

I'm attempting to do my first Hackintosh and after booting from the USB I receive the following error
OCB: LoadImage Failed - Unsupported

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H

Here is my EFI Folder structure as it stands on my USB

for quicker troubleshooting for anyone that may know a fix, I have attached directly my config.plist

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Give this a try. Replace the full folder.

Hey, Shaneee

Thanks for the reply mate,
I managed to fix it by correcting my Driver array format in the config.plist

I booted up and then was presented with the following screen/error

Should I still replace my entire EFI folder with the one kindly provided by yourself?

Try with the one I posted yes. I've seen that error with another member with a X370 board. ACPI errors can be a pain to diagnose unless there's a bunch of unneeded ACPI files which you don't have.

For reference, I went ahead and replaced my EFI folder with the one you provided and the boot still hanged on the same error and stage as provided in the above photo

After checking dortania these 2 ACPI files are the only ones required, So I'm puzzled as hell unsure if the VirtualSMC is throwing an error out also from the photo?

That's why you should always use Verbose when booting for the first time. Add -v to your boot args.

Ah yes, I took that off
After putting it back in verbose I get the same error as previously even with the new virtual SMC you linked

unfortunate, back to square one

Try this. But before you boot head into the BIOS and enable Above 4G in the settings.

Well I enabled 4G and used the EFI provided

I got further than what I have done at all today

It’s been a long 12 hours of trying

But I got a apple panic error

Verify your BIOS settings as follows,

  • Tweaker > Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) – Profile 1
  • Tweaker > System Memory Multiplier – Auto [Default]
  • Settings > IOPorts > Initial Display Output – PCIe 1 Slot [Default]
  • Settings > IOPorts > HD Audio Controller – Enabled [Default]
  • Settings > IOPorts > Above 4G Decoding – Enabled
  • Settings > IOPorts > Super IO Configuration – Disabled
  • Settings > IOPorts > USB Configuration > XHCI-Handoff – Enabled [Default]
  • Settings > IOPorts > SATA Configuration > SATA Mode – AHCI [Default]
  • Boot > Fast Boot – Disabled [Default]
  • Boot > CSM Support – Disabled
  • Save & Exit

Confirmed, All settings are as stated in your message with the same true/false values.

Unfortunately, Still get the error and I'm at a lost end as to what I can do to rectify the issue

Thanks for your help though Shaneee :)

Replace VirtualSMC with this version, https://github.com/dortania/build-r...rtualSMC-3df3e11/VirtualSMC-1.2.8-RELEASE.zip
Same as the original EFI I uploaded. What else is connected to your system? Any other PCI devices for example?

Failing that I wonder if @Edhawk has any ideas?

I've just attempted with the replacement VirtualSMC you provided and the USB drive no longer shows up in the boot menu which is bizarre,

With Regards to PCI I currently have the following listed below according to PCI-Z

Mainly the NVME m.2 SSD drive is the other main one, to be honest

But yes any help is appreciated and grateful!
otherwise, I think I'd have to go down the route of paying someone to put MacOS on my system as I need it asap for work
