Every time I boot it’s a different com.apple.xpc.launchd error, heres my log and new EFI. (i purposefully disabled Airportitlwm bc that needs SecureBootModel to be Default).
I understand about the shutoff part but I’m now i’m curious about sleep, I have a Macbook Pro 5,2 and when I press the power button it goes to sleep. I thought that wouldn’t hackintosh be the same as well?
Yeah I usually have ErP on and I disabled it but nothing changed, i’m not using any other kexts or patches and the power switch cables are connected and it’s not a power and sleep problem as choosing those inside macos works. Also if i hold the power button it does turn on off but it force shuts...
After 2 weeks of troubleshooting I finally got sequoia to boot, thanks to Edhawk for all his help and u/Rocoptic on reddit who helped me find the fix for my nvram!
I DID SOME DIGGING AND I FOUND THIS AND IT WORKED. “
Head to your config. plist and change the following if not
already: Boot -> Quirks DisableVariableWrite = False
Misc -> Security ExposeSensitiveData = At least 0x1 or
higher (hex) or 1 (decimal) NVRAM LegacyOverwrite =
True WriteFlash = True...
I am actually losing it, I tried it with both the online and offline, tried uninstalling my M470 PRO, disconnecting every device except for ethernet, displayport, keyboard, mouse, and usb but it still gets stuck at About 12 mins Remaining
