AudioGod's ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING - Big Sur & Monterey Beta - OpenCore 0.7.4 EFI

After install successed, I have patch my RX5700 GPU on DeviceProperties, the PCIE path using hackintools modified, the same problem.

@johnlietzke I was always using the latest (beta) BIOS on my X570-I, never had any issues. Asus does a pretty well job with it.

I agree. I typically use the beta BIOS the day it comes out. Have not had a buggy Asus BIOS, yet.

Hi, now My Problem is before entering the MacOS system, The screen has some abnormal color block, After entering the system the color becomes normal. In my case I need to disable NVMeFix.kext and RadeoSensor.kext.

12.3.1 works with the current EFI.

After removing the GPU patch for 12.3 the Metal results are back to normal.

So, the patch is not longer needed. Also the Zero RPM fan works again.

The new clean installation 12.3.1 works perfectly, no problem......thx @johnlietzke

Anyone else having fan and pump disconnect issues when using the AMD Power Gadget?

After upgrading my loop and then adding in my GPU, I was using the AMD Power Gadget fan controls to speed up the pump to get some of the ancillary air trapped in the loop out.

On both occasions the fans (CPU and Chassis) and pump would completely disconnect after a few minutes. They would register as 0rpms and stop. This only happened when I had the AMD Power Gadget running.

I have my hardware info displayed in iStats Menus so I rarely use the AMD Power Gadget.

I stopped using it because he did a problem when awakening from sleep. BIOS frozen and I had to restart several times or completely disconnect the source. I don't use and the problem is gone ...

I have never had any issues with the Kext themselves or the associated Kext for displaying the thermals in third-party software like iStat Menu. The issue seems isolated to the AMD Power Gadget app. I also experienced weird sleep problems with the pump and fans when the app was open.

@johnlietzke Couldn't tell you I'm afraid. They are most likely busy.

I saw a commit from 3 day ago and knew they working on it. I am fairly new to OpenCore so was kind of thinking they did a big overhaul every so often.

Thanks for the update

I updated my EFI to this latest commint of opencore 0.8.0 and kexts at first everything is normal but I don't have time to do a massive test... as I always say better wait for the final release to test well and then launch it here on the site so we don't create problems where there isn't....

A big hug my friend!

I jumped the gun and updated 0.7.8 when the release first came out and a weird fan and pump disconnect issue with the PWM headers. As my rig is completely liquid cooled this was a huge problem and caused a thermal shutdown.

After the experience with it is now only the official release for me.

Many thanks.

Good Morning!!

You will have to remap your USB

There are several documents here on the forum on how to do this!
