Hi,

I haven't been running a Hackintosh the last couple of years, just Linux.
I really wanted to have a Mac Mini m2 Pro, I think it's a wonderful device.

Yet I was thinking, why not spend less money but some more effort and get an even stronger system.

I already have plenty of components but I would like to put my existing 6600 XT into a new combination.... well that is what I hope to find out.

The RX 6600 XT is natively supported since macOS Monterey 12.1. So running Monterey or Ventura is feasible with that GPU.

Any AMD Ryzen AM4 system will work with the RX 6600 XT. So getting compatible components shouldn't be too hard. Using a newer AM5 system comes with more work on your part but is also feasible.

Alternatively, and depending on your Linux setup, you may be able to dual boot Linux and macOS, utilising the RX 6600 XT GPU.
