Hi! I'm trying to boot macOS Ventura on my Colorful B550m + R5 5600 + RX 6600 with opencore but it's getting stuck at using 16384 buffer headers
Was able to boot without any issue before updating bios for 5600 with 2400g
Tried with disabling SAM but in vain
and there's no option to disable/enable 4g decode in bios but it's enabled.

When you updated the bios for the CPU change, did you go through the new bios setup to make all the necessary changes for macOS to run on your system?

Did you change the config.plist AMD Kernel patches, to reflect the core count change?

Posting a copy of your OC EFI, with the Serial Number redacted/deleted, might shed some more information on the reason for this kernel panic.

Yes, I changed algrey patch from 04 to 06 cuz last time I was able to use it with 2400g.
There's no option to disable Above 4G Decode in Bios, so I can only disable SAM.

IOMMU Disabled
Secure Boot Disabled
CSM Disabled
No Option for Fast Boot
Serial Port Disabled

Also tried by downgrading from 1010 to 1009 bios version, which is the first version with 5000 series support so can't further downgrade it.

Only thing I can think of is the Above 4G and SAM cuz they only work with a 3000+ series AMD CPU and 5000+ Series GPU but I can't disable Above 4G Decode from Bios.
Already tried with Setting 'ResizeAppleGpuBars' to 0 and adding npci=0x2000 boot flag and disabling/enabling SAM.

Screenshot of the GPUZ is attached, that's how I know that Above 4G is enabled.
Screenshot when same motherboard was able to boot Ventura with 2400G is also attached.

Here's the screenshot of the verbose where it's stopping.
Used both Fake and Virtual SMC

First thing I would recommend is to remove any SATA/NVME drives that are not essential for macOS to run while troubleshooting this issue, i.e. disconnect any Windows, Linux or Data drives. So you only have your macOS drive connected.
  • Your OpenCore...Log shows a number of errors related to the failed mount of an NTFS drive.
  • If you have a drive containing an older version of macOS, I would also recommend disconnecting this drive.
  • When troubleshooting an issue with a Hack it is best to just have the main macOS drive connected.
You need to clean up your OC sub-folders, i.e. Tools and Drivers so you only have the Tools and drivers you need to boot your system.

Not sure you need these two boot args - vsmchbkp=0 amfi_get_out_of_my_way=1
You might want to change npci=0x2000 to npci=0x3000

There are no errors in the log related to Above 4G Decode. Just a messed up NTFS drive.

Posting a copy of your Current EFI would be more beneficial, than posting logs and screenshots.

Further downgraded from 1009 version to 1006 bios version which doesn't even support both Above 4g Decode but still stuck at same point

Above4G should be enabled. Why are you trying to disable it? Get latest BIOS, enable Above4G and Resizeable BAR, set ResizeAppleGpuBars to 0 and make sure there's no npci in your boot-args.

You're not supposed to use both. Only use VirtualSMC.

Hello, @digitaladeel, you are missing some essential kexts to allow your system to run. Please see attached EFI that works for my Asus B550M Tuff Gaming board. I disabled USB Mapping and changed CPU core counts to 6. I also don't know what ethernet controller your board has but I left LucyRTL8125Ethernet.kext enabled and removed serial numbers.

Here is a revised OC EFI based on 0.9.1 release for an AMD B550 MB/6-core CPU/Navi dGPU using the MacPro7,1 SMBIOS for you to try.

You just need to add the Serial Number, MLB, ROM and SystemUUID entries to the config.plist and see if this fixes the issues you are facing.

I haven't included any Bluetooth or WiFi kexts in the EFI attached above, as I wasn't sure which Wifi/BT card you are using.

Try a number of different USB ports. Including USB3 ports.

I recall Helping someone else with a 'Colourful' motherboard and they had issues with their USB ports in macOS.

Booted your EFI after adding serials and gave me Magic Number loop, so updated both AMD CPU Kexts but after still getting stuck at HID
Tried all other ports on rear i/o as well both USB2 and 3
