Hi there. Sonoma 14.3 update is live. Is it safe to update or do we need to make any chages to the kernel patches or config.plist...?
I am on latest OC 0.97.

Thanks!

If the update would actually install for me I'd let you know :ROFLMAO: no amount of SMBios messing or RestricEvents is letting me download the update.

I used the sbvmm boot argument and the update was made available on my ROG STRIX X570 system, after a reboot.

With my kext on sbvmm by default, and with bluetoolfixup kext on, the update is successful

Nope my system is cursed :ROFLMAO:

Full installer also doesn't work

macOS Sonoma cannot be installed on this computer.

Edit:
Now after a dozen NVRAM resets the update doesn't even appear...

Yeah. This is the first update that hasn't worked for me. I'll make a USB and install that way at some point I guess.

I can download but the install failed...
I don't understand

No problems here!, I managed to update mu three builds yesterday, GenMachine, 4700G and 5700X. I used boot-arg 'revpatch=cpuname, pci, sbvmm'. On a side note could someone let TMX86 know that I've banned by CloudFare again, can't access from either my three builds, M1 Air or my iPhone.

Just download the installer from the App Store and run that. It will download from the Software Update prefs pane, and give an error when it tries to update, so just exit and run the installer app from the Applications folder. No mods or patches or boot args necessary.

@Bansaku Downloading from App Store also doesn't work. Told you my system is cursed lol I'll try via USB shortly.

All good now after making a USB installer :D Even changing SMBIOS didn't affect the update or the App running. Same EFI has been used to update Sonoma to where it was. Nothing had changed to stop it working. No changes were made to install from USB either.

Could be an IP issue, as that happened to me not that long ago.

PM me your router IP address and I will ask one of the admins to look at unblocking your IP.
