SMCAMDProcessor.kext

I just an error saying, "no SMCAMDProcessor installed".

I do have it installed, and it's after AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext in my config.plist

I don't understand why it doesn't work.

@kek, you're probably using an old version of the Gadget? The kext was previously called SMCAMDProcessor before it got split up in two. Make sure you use the latest version of both: https://github.com/trulyspinach/SMCAMDProcessor/releases

I’m getting a kernel panic in Big Sur beta 5 from AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext
Is this a known issue or something on my end?
Everything works great in Catalina.

Lilu's userspace patching is not working on BigSur when using KernelCollections. Kext like AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext panic due to this.
Older versions of the kext (0.3.x) are reported to still work on Big Sur.

Thanks Shannee for this guide at the start. It made AMD Power management setting up easier. I did have an error earlier, when it went into Hibernate, and seemed like a USB error. Hopefully this fixes it. Hopfully next week I'll have a newer 6GB card to replace my GT 710.

trulyspinach has updated his repo and now AMDRyzenCPUPowerManagement.kext works with Big Sur.
