CPU:
Ryzen5950
I installed a Ryzen 9700 into a Asus Strix B650E-
F (latest BIOS) that was successfully booting Sequoia Beta 4. Using latest kexts, patches, etc. I was not really expecting it to boot on the first try and I was right. See screen shot attached. Has anyone else tried to Hackintosh a Ryzen 9000 series yet?

Two dimms is simple to test if something goes wrong
i have 4 dimm fullfilled with 4 Module (48 Gb each) on Hero motherboard (Corsair 6400 kit)
i can push with my 7950x till 5200 but in that condition i have problem only with geekbench in a single test
i have seen no so much improvment so i prefer to leave them at stock values
When my 9950x arrives i will do some tests again
The RAM controller is 99% the same.

@ssuper2k or @fabiosun Just to confirm it's still fine before it's merged. Please test this. Test it on a USB just in case.

Any files in the /OC/Drivers and /OC/Tools folders, as these should always match, i.e. be from the same Release or Debug version as the Bootx64.efi and Opencore.efi.

So all .efi files in /drivers & /tools are updated in every daily build ?
not always
but it is good to use the same of opencore.efi build you use

To be honest I wasn't thinking of Nightly Builds when I wrote about the other .efi files matching Bootx64.efi and Opencore.efi. I was thinking of the standard OC Debug and Release point increments.

CB 2024 was crashing on RAM 6600 BCLK 2200, had to drop to 6400/2133
Happened also in W11 (I just hadn't tested it thoroughly yet)

this result is impressive
i have the same of you in R23
in this you are faster (too much :) ) than me, i have about 2100
curious about your crve shaper settings and ram settings

@ssuper2k i saw some your test in Geekbench site (OSX and 9950x), there you could find mine
i wonder why you have less single core bench and i have worst multicore
Could you test it without AMDPower GAdget kext loaded and also in a stock condition for your Bios?
we are (maybe) the only ones to use OSX with this cpu and i would like to understand if it is Sonoma/Sequoia related or some kexts we use
I see there you had 96 Gb (2 di x 48 gb each or 4x24Gb?)
thank you

I thought you guys could use some company. Thanks @ssuper2k for staying with it. Stock bios settings except for memory timing.

@leesurone 2 or 4 dimm modules?
Which frequenxy do you push for dimm?

i see 64 gb and both of you havent expose memory Frequency (due i think for the overclock you did on ram
curios about my poor multicore and better single core result than yours

Yes
Geekbench and cinebench 24 worked well in multicore with only two dimm module pushed at 6400
