RX 5500XT audio via hdmi?

Hello

Not sure where to start,

HDMI Audio only works with VoodooHDA, also shows 5 separate hdmi outputs at once (very confusing)
Applealc works for audio jacks and displayport, Currently using a Vizio 40" 4k tv as my display (with arc going to a yamaha soundbar)
Currently running big sur 11.1 although the same issue showed up in catalina.

specs:

• ryzen 5 3600
• Asrock B550m pro4
• 2x16GB Gskill ram

-MSI RX 5500XT 8GB
-Silicon power 1tb nvme

I just want to know if I can get hdmi audio via applealc working or continue to use Voodoohda.

In September I tried a startech (dp2hd4k60h)active displayport to hdmi adapter, would run into a huge issue when in windows (dual booting via opencore) black screen every second or two trying to get 4k60hz (I wasn't even attempting hdr) as well as
