Does anybody know if small tree works with this update?

No,
Smalltree in its current form is finished now. Any hope of it working again finished with the first RC.

It’s currently being worked on to try and get it stable.

Any GitHub source?

NVM I've found it. The problem is the same, it stops working every time I put my pc into sleep mode.
