Hola People! I just successfully installed Ventura a while ago, but it seems like NootedRed isn't working? No Graphical Acceleration, Very Laggy and iGPU shows with 7MB Vram.

System Specs:
CPU : Ryzen 5 4600h with AMD Radeon Graphics
dGPU : NVIDIA GTX 1650ti

I also noticed that even though I have used an SSDT to disable the dGPU as well as used the bootarg (EFI LINKED BELOW) in System Report both the gpus are present and show no kext is attached(something like that)

PS : Opencore MOD EFI from Orialla with some SSDTs and Kexts added (It was the only one that even booted up the installer for me)

Are you using ECEnabler.kext? This kext is helpful for getting battery working.

What’s not fixed?

Expand on the element you need help fixing, I am good with Hack’s, but i am not a mind reader or very good at reading between the lines.

I wasn't sure which problem resurfaced and required the cold boot to 'fix' the issue.

Questions:
  1. How old is the battery?
  2. Is it in good condition, physically and regarding power provision?
  3. Has it been 'charged' a lot, i.e. continually used with the AC power brick connected?
  4. Does it hold power when used in Windows?
  5. What sort of timeframe does windows estimate for the battery before it will need charging?
In macOS what does the System Information > Power report show regarding the AC power brick and battery?
Post a screenshot of the Power report tab.

Battery is 1478 days old, it is in good condition, it hasn't been used continually with the AC power brick connected a lot, it holds power in both MacOS and Windows, it just doesn't update the % left and other things. Windows, with the dGPU enabled and all estimates ~2 hours. In MacOS practically, I get around 3-4 hrs with dGPU disabled.

Post a copy of your current EFI folder, just remember to delete/redact the serial number from the config.plist, before posting it here.

Dw, the smbios is random and not mine, the battery works fine on windows, but not in MacOS.

Elaborating more on the problem : After I use MacOS once, the BIOS seems to think the battery is not present in the system, even though it is running on Battery Power. To fix this, a power reset is required.

Have you thought of flashing the Bios, with the same version it currently uses, so any miscommunication with the battery is removed? As OpenCore and macOS shouldn't interfere with the Bios/Battery functions.

Before that try booting the system with the SMCLightSensor.kext disabled in the config.plist, as this kext can cause unnecessary issues, if the laptop doesn't contain a Light Sensor.

I'll try flashing the bios now, SMCLightSensor disabled does not change results

Just remember that you will need to reconfigure the bios, so it runs macOS, after flashing it.

Yeah, nothing happened. I should probably live with the issue, isn't really that much of a headache after all.

Thank you for your support over the past week though, really means a lot to me!
