Good morning, I'm trying to create an efi to install on a Ryzen 9 7950X 16 Core, 16GB Memory, Asus B650-PLUS Motherboard, 1TB nvme hard drive and amd RX 580 8Gb 2048 graphics.

The system I'm trying to install is the Tahoe, but it stays halfway and doesn't go past there. Some advice. THANK YOU.

I attach my EFI file.

Your RX 580 2048 GPU isn’t natively supported by macOS. You may need a patched VBios for the card before it is seen and works correctly with macOS. See this thread over at Tonymacx86’s regarding the dGPU.

Which NVMe drive are you using, not all NVMe drives are compatible with macOS, as they use Phison and other non Mac friendly controllers.

I will have a look at your EFI folder when I am at my desk, later today. But without the information requested above regarding your NVMe drive, I am not sure if your issues are solely related to the EFI configuration.

I have attached a revised EFI for you to try. This EFI is based on the settings I used with my Asus STRIX B650-F Gaming system that runs Sequoia and Tahoe.
  1. I have reservations about the SSDT's in your ACPI folder, as I don't know where they have been created or who 'ZPSS' is.
  2. I have removed the SSDT-USB-Reset.aml table, as I am not sure whether it will help or hinder your system.
  3. I have removed a number of non-essential kexts (Bluetooth, Audio).
  4. I have removed the USBToolBox.kext and UTBDefault.kext as these are doing nothing for your setup.
    1. Not with the UTBDefault set the way it is. It is set to only show a single USB controller (XHC) when it is common knowledge that AMD B650 motherboards contain 3 or more USB controllers.
  5. I have added USBWakeFixup.kext, as this seems to be an essential kext for Asus B650 motherboards.
  6. I have added 2 x ACPI > Patches to your config.plist, which are essential for AM5 systems.
Try the revised EFI, see if it gets you to the installer.

Let us know how you get on.
