Hey all,

I have a fully functional Big Sur.

I have updated the kernel patch (both adding the new ones or replacing completely the old ones)
I have enabled the SIP (csrutil)
I have disabled the SecureBoot
I have added the "pinkera" bootarg to enable the AMD card

My hardware (MacPro 7,1) should work fine. The only problem is an old Kepler GPU but I have also a 6600XT that should work. I also tried to remove the old GPU (no change).

The EFI is verified and working (OC 0.7.6) with no issues in the validator.

I have created the USB Monterey installer and installed the EFI folder in the EFI partition.

When I restart (setting the USB as the boot drive in the BIOS) it stops after a few seconds with no apparent problem (see image). I really don't know what else should I do... Please help!! Thank you!!

Ha! No, there's sadly something with MSI motherboards that prevents them from upgrading. Your GPU is okay!

Solution
@Shaneee YOU ARE A SAINT!!!! THANK YOU, MAN!!! It worked perfectly!! I had to switch off the SecureBoot as per Dortania indications and insert my serial numbers and it went smooth!!!

It restarted like 8-9 times making me sweat... but at the end I had Monterey working perfectly on a test HDD. BT, Wifi, and audio all working well and my 6600XT happy to finally meet macOS!! :)

Thank you!! Thank you so much!!

Just one last question. When I tried to do the same procedure with my SSD (with Big Sur on), the installer didn't want to proceed and got out a bubble saying that I need to "update the firmware in order to proceed". I guess it is because the SSD is formatted APFS and the HDD was HFS+. Any suggestions on how can I solve it?

Thank you again. You were a jewel!
