8+8=16 GB RAM,
Zotac GTX 1060 6GB
any help would be appreciated.

You would be limited to High Sierra and need to use the Nvidia Web Drivers because of your graphics card. Personally that would be the end of my interest in running macOS. If you are still interested then someone may point you in the right direction.

Replace your Graphics Card with an AMD one.
