I can't wait to get MSI to fix BIOS issue to allow me installing Monterey 12.1 so I can get RX65600 XT supported. Currently I have MSI B450 Pro M2 Max, and want to replace it with Asus or Gigabyte or whatever MB that works for 12.1. Any expert has success story with 12.1 installation with a Motherboard < 100 $?

I'm so glad my EFI worked for you!

Thank you!! yes, I had issue earlier due to Bio Version F1, later upgrade to F12, and play around the SATA config( actually two places to change AHCI ). then works like a charm..
Only one thing not working, input mic. not sure.

I'm sure the input on the MB is a AMD thing, USB mic's work though.

Mic not working may mean you need a custom AppleALC.kext layout ID. Or use a different one in your config.plist.

Which Audio Codec does your Gigabyte A520M DS3H use?
Which layout ID are you currently using?

Mic in does not work with AppleALC on AMD. You need to use VoodooHDA, which has worse audio quality, or an USB solution.

Yup, I have spare cheap USB mixer, so just plug in the mic that way..

Just like a real Mac, I have not had any problems seeing or installing the updates from software update app.
