Hey all! I just built my second Ryzentosh and I am really impressed so far. Everything seems more stable than my previous Intel-builds, but I am having one odd issue in after effects.
When I try to do any type of motion or camera tracking with the native AE Camera Tracker, it seems to either do nothing, or give me a spinning beach ball -- I can't do any tracking currently and I don't really want to roll back to an older version of AE as I just installed all my plugins :(

I'm running After Effects CC 17.0.6

AMD 3950X 16-Core
Gigabyte Aorus Master
Sapphire 5700XT

TIA if anyone knows what the issue might be!

Thanks!

Try running these two patches in Terminal,

Code:
sudo perl -i -pe 's|\x90\x90\x90\x90\x56\xE8\x3A\x00|\x90\x90\x90\x90\x56\xE8\x1A\x00|sg' /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/File\ Formats/Camera\ Raw.plugin/Contents/MacOS/Camera\ Raw

sudo perl -i -pe 's|\x90\x90\x90\x90\x56\xE8\x5A\x00|\x90\x90\x90\x90\x56\xE8\x3A\x00|sg' /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CC/File\ Formats/Camera\ Raw.plugin/Contents/MacOS/Camera\ Raw

Thank you! I did have to run some of these commands to get all the Adobe products to run, but trying to run those commands now give ma a "No such file or directory error" - I'll look into it some more.

I did just install their latest AE update just now and when I click on the Track button now After Effects just completely closes :(

@Yu32 You'll need to check the path on the patch incase it has changed with an update.
