Though it doesn't really make sense for AM5 longevity and getting the best from what it offers, there will be a 620 chipset released next year. Perfect for those on a budget who don't mind waiting to jump on AM5. I own a A320I-K paired with 5700X and have always felt it doesn’t really deserve the 'Budget' tag.

hi @craighazan , i saw the local retailer selling A520 board & got excited, thinking that's the one supporting the 7000 series. Till i checked your thread here.:ROFLMAO:

My musings at this point are:
- does your A320i support cpu-overclocking
-would the A620 support it

TIA

Hi. I’m not sure if my A320i-K does support overclocking, I do have the Ryzen Master App installed on Windows 11 and there are various settings I just don’t understand!. But there are pre-sets you can select, gaming, creative etc and I have tried them, whether it affects macOS, I can’t say. I can overclock my RX580 in AMD app, for some beautiful gaming!.
