    End SetConsoleMode

Thanks for checking on that. But yeah, the folder structure looks correct to me, at least based on what I'm following in the Dortania guide for legacy systems.

    End SetConsoleMode

No worries! Thanks for all your help!

    End SetConsoleMode

Hmm, I'm still running into the BOOT MISMATCH! BOOT FAIL! messages with the updated EFI folder.
  4. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Thanks for your help! Unfortunately, now I'm getting a BOOT MISMATCH! BOOT FAIL! error.
  5. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Hmm, no luck with that EFI folder setup. The computer won't open to the OpenCore picker now.
  6. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Great, thanks! I'll give this a try and report back.
  7. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Here's the new EFI file with the changes made.
  8. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Rats, no luck. Made sure to add in the patches and enable the two flags, still met with the End SetConsoleMode message.
  9. B

    End SetConsoleMode

Thanks for the quick response! That's weird, I thought for sure I had added the patches and enabled those flags. I'll do it again for a sanity check and report back.

    End SetConsoleMode

Sure, thanks! I'll attach my EFI folder below. As for what my hardware is, I have the following: CPU: AMD FX 8350 Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M Plus/USB3 GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB Due to the age of the motherboard, I'm having to use DuetPkg for the legacy BIOS.

Got it, thanks, really appreciate your help. I'm still running into the black screen with the flashing cursor after setting up the legacy boot file on my EFI drive. Is there something I've messed up in the config.plist I posted above?

Trouble Booting OpenCore for High Sierra on FX8350

Ah, I think I see at least some of my problem - looks like my BIOS mode is legacy only.

Trouble Booting OpenCore for High Sierra on FX8350

Thanks for getting back to me, and thanks for the link - I've been using it as I work my way through the build process. Would I need to have the Nvidia web drivers on my USB stick? I can download the .pkg file, but I can't do anything with it since I'm on Windows and my Macbook won't open it...
