Attach your EFI!.

I visited Micro Center last night and almost bought the Ryzen 5 5600X3D and a Sapphire Pulse 6600, but I didn’t. The 4600G and 4700G are keeping me entertained for the time being. I did spot a A620 in the wild though!.

I don’t accept payment’s for helping people, but you can attach your EFI for us to take a look at. Just remove SMBIOS info, (serials etc) and attach it here.

Hi @ExtremeXT, I wondered if you would take a peak at my bad EFI for a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WIFI paired with a Ryzen 7 4700G. I haven't tried the AmdTscSync.kext before, but I'm sure that's not the reason for black screen after verbose. I created that random pile of SSDTs in SSDTTime on Windows...

Please attach your zipped EFI with SMBIOS removed so we can investigate, @Middleman might be interested in this.

yeah not very useful despite being pretty. How much RAM do you have installed on your system?. In BIOS what other VRAM settings are available ?.

@Steve901 good job, what did you do to get it to boot?. Interesting that in Big Sur System Information, Graphics and Displays says your 4600G is Cezanne.

@Steve901 the EFI I attached in the last post is giving me a black screen after verbose. I switched the 4700G to a Gigabyte B450M DS3H WI-FI to test.

ProcessorType was zero, I changed it to 1537 for a APU that has 6 cores or less, it's 3841 for 8 cores or more. I also updated the patches which were out of date. Might want to change your SMBIOS info.

Don't forget to add the SSDT-CPUR, it's not in my EFI you'll need it for the 450 but not the 320. https://github.com/dortania/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/blob/master/extra-files/compiled/SSDT-CPUR.aml
