Compatible with Ventura or.. nah? It's okay if it ain't compatible with it though, Monterey is fine for me.

Well I'd say it is totally possible to turn it into a hackintosh. According to the CPU's page for your HP 15s-eq, the detailed specs of the chip can be found here: https://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Zen/AMD-Ryzen%205%20Mobile%205625U.html As it is a Vega chipset, I believe it should work with the...

    13.4.1 and OC 0.9.3 issue

If that occurs, I would say here that OCAT could be the culprit. There have been times I've tried when despite having pressed the relevant switches to upgrade the OC and kexts in OCAT, it failed to do so when I checked the EFI folder. It's probably a mismatched OC 0.9.2 file that hasn't been...

Updating OC from 0.8.1 to 0.9.3 failed

I had a look at your EFI and found out it had the following errors under the Kernel > Patches section: Anyways I've updated and corrected the mistakes (which also includes misplaced kext loads as well as adding missing .efi essential drivers). Give it a try.

Got a kernel panic trying to install macOS (Lenovo IdeaPad Ryzen 4300u)

Not entirely, because there have been others who have it working with this series of CPU (Ryzen 4000). To have things work you must replace the entire EFI folder and also must use a matching version of the Opencore editor. I'd suggest if you haven't already to use or try OCAT (OC Auxiliary...

Got a kernel panic trying to install macOS (Lenovo IdeaPad Ryzen 4300u)

Did you try and run the ResetNVRAM tool after booting up the new EFIs? It is a necessary step to clear the cache otherwise it may load remnants of the files before. I would also check your BIOS settings to see if you’ve disabled CSM and TPM and enabled Above 4G Decoding and XHCI handoff.

Got a kernel panic trying to install macOS (Lenovo IdeaPad Ryzen 4300u)

@imwrkacc, I just had a look at your original EFI. You mentioned about disabling NootedRed but I see didn't have the Whatevergreen kext installed in its place (in the folder). That means it won't be able to boot regardless. As for the invalid pointer, I think that was to do with your lack of...

Got a kernel panic trying to install macOS (Lenovo IdeaPad Ryzen 4300u)

For those interested, there is a working OC 0.9.2 Big Sur EFI build for Lenovo Ryzen Yoga 16S 7 5800H using NootedRed found here > https://github.com/zabdottler/Lenovo-Yoga-16S-hackintosh To make it works, just make sure the settings for the Ryzen under Kernel > Patches match up with the number...

It's not an impossible task. The 5900HX should work if configured correctly and the Vega 8 also (now with WhateverRed).

How to install on my laptop? The specs are below

Okay try to replace the SSDT-CPUR-ALT.aml in your EFI with this one. Remember to unzip it first before copying, then run ResetNVRAM before booting.

You need to press the space bar at the Opencore options menu.

How to install on my laptop? The specs are below

Okay. Try with this new EFI. If it doesn't boot you must run the RESETNVRAM or Shutdown tool first before rebooting the EFI. That will clear the previous EFI cache.

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

@CaseySJ, It's great that you've managed to correct SSDT-IGPU-Disable. That for sure would help a lot of users out there with these boards. I think the next part is, we should be looking with Hackintool and see which of the AMD PCI audio devices are still active and try to disable those. From...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

@CaseySJ, Some excellents points you've made there. I'm sure there's a ton of stuff we'll have to peruse for the answer. As for the audio stuttering, I just had a thought - I do think maybe it is IGPU related. Is there any way we could somehow disable the IGPU audio output or to separate it...

    Ryzen 7000 Testing

Could it be that there’s something in the Thunderbolt implementation is the main cause of the issue? Don’t forget Thunderbolt activation is closely tied to USB-C now. I’m also thinking maybe IOMMU needs a physical patch for AMD systems in order for the PCIe slots to work properly.

How i can download Macos High Sierra on my pc?

Okay @champagnecatix, I've created an EFI based on my working Monterey 5900X B550 Vision D build using Opencore v0.8.4. I've added the nvda_drv:31 parameter to the boot-arg for your Nvidia GTX1070 and adjusted for your 3700x core count so it should work. Give it a try.

Query regarding Monterey Install on AMD Ryzen 4600H (I KNOW THERES NO ACCELERATION , IM DOING IT FOR FUN)

Here are two of the SSDTs you could try to disable your Nvidia dGPU (just enable only one at a time). Files will need to be unzipped first and placed into the EFI/OC/ACPI folder. If they don't work then you will need to check against the path for your 1650Ti using Windows Device Manager and...

There's no acceleration but it boots...
