:ROFLMAO: I tried to unlock the advanced options in BIOS, thought maybe something about "XHCI Handoff" would help......
Unfortunately, only some options about enable/disable specific usb ports can be found, and disable them didn't help...... (And what's worst is that after I disable "Above 4G...
Not a laptop, it's a mini PC just like Intel NUC, using 5900HX+6600M. According to the screenshots, it has completely the same USB comtrollers as Legion 5…… That's confusing🤔
Seems that still need something like XHCI-unsupported.kext (or DummyAppleUSBXHCIPCI.kext, add device-id to one of the CFBundleIdentifier) to tell the kext to recognize the USB controller directly, or it will stall after PCI Configuration End...... (Only once or twice it won't stall after PCI...
SSDT-USBX.aml is installed, but I don't have a SSDT-UIAC.aml......
(For now using EC0 to EC rename patch, disabled SSDT-EC and ECEnabler.kext, just for a test. So far looks normal?)
I took a look at XHCI-unsupported.kext and IOUSBHostFamily.kext yesterday. So if I understand correctly, AppleUSBXHCIPCI is a plugin of IOUSBHostFamily; XHCI-unsupported.kext try to add unsupperted USB controller's device id to AppleUSBXHCIPCI to get native support from Apple's kext.
And I...
Sorry for bothering you again...... I got a Hynix PC711 and a Phison E12S.
I enabled USBToolBox and UTBMap, and disabled GenericUSBXHCI, tried to remove all my NVME drives (no sata drives) and my wireless network card, when trying to boot Monterey 12.6, it still stuck here......
Like...
I disabled USBToolBox and UTBMap, and enable GenericUSBXHCI, and it shows a forbidden sign at last, with this kernel panic. Maybe because I'm using a USB 3.0 installer?
Here's all usable USB port info I got from Windows, but I only got BIOS device path for Camera...... I don't know how to make...
Bravo! There is no kernel panic now! Thank you guys very much, you've done a great job! @ExtremeXT @Visual 🥳🥳🥳
Now I need to figure out why on my PC it just stuck at somewhere after PCI Configuration, maybe USB/SSD related......
Seem to be @sched_prim.c:3617, not sure what you need......
https://github.com/apple-oss-distributions/xnu/blob/27b03b360a988dfd3dfdf34262bb0042026747cc/osfmk/kern/sched_prim.c#L3600
Still got OC: Kernel patcher result 17 for kernel - Not Found
BTW, I just install Monterey 12.6 on another PC in an external disk, and I got kernel log from Hackintool. Is this log what you need?
