In all honesty, I have been a massive Nvidia supporter since dropping my 3Dfx Voodoo 3. In all honesty I did not even know why I went with Nvidia as I was upset with them for killing 3Dfx but it was actually 3Dfx themselves that killed them on their own with Nvidia just picking up the pieces. I did use an ATI card once back in the day but the drivers really caused me to go back to Nvidia. Now I have heard that the AMD drivers right now is a lot better than how it was. The ATI card I used was an ATI Radeon HD 4870X2. Right now I am using a RTX 3060 12gb which works really well, but I was thinking of selling this card and going for a an XFX or Sapphire Radeon RX 9060 XT 16Gb. I saw in the reviews that this card is really good. The reason for looking at this one instead of an RTX 5060 is the 16gb instead of just 8gb Vram. But what do you guys think.

If your purpose is to run macOS then the latest AMD GPUs won't work. 6xxx series is the last supported AMD GPUs on macOS.

If it's more for Windows / Gaming then go for it. The VRAM upgrade alone will help. AMD Drivers are better than they were. My RX 6800 can still play modern games at 1440p no issues.

Thank you, at present it will be on Windows but I am considering Bazzite, but taken that I mostly overclock and run benchmarks I'm not sure whether Bazzite would work.
