CPU:
Ryzen5950
I installed a Ryzen 9700 into a Asus Strix B650E-
F (latest BIOS) that was successfully booting Sequoia Beta 4. Using latest kexts, patches, etc. I was not really expecting it to boot on the first try and I was right. See screen shot attached. Has anyone else tried to Hackintosh a Ryzen 9000 series yet?

@ssuper2k Test this please. You can disable SysReport now too.. Will speed up your boot a bit.
This is very, very interesting and I hope others are following along. I don't know if this is significant or not but if @ssuper2k is running the latest bios version 2308 that also addresses security vulnerabilities that on some MSI boards has proved problematic. What is your opinion @Shaneee? Would it be better to try and revert to version 2204 we know works with ACPI patches? Following @fabiosun postings about 2204 that's the version I'm running. @leesurone That's a good point actually yeah. Unless of course it doesn't affect AM5 booting but we wouldn't know yet.

If possible a downgraded BIOS to a working version would be ideal. Wish I had the hardware on hand to test

@Shaneee have you checked my picture on amd osx discord?
There is a debug line not present in 9950x
It talks about FID 180 and divisor

Yeah I saw that. It's because it wasn't able to grab them from the MSR. Latest test build hopefully fixes this.

My cpu is coming….so i hope you solves this before it comes here🥹🥹

Right, after I added that post l realized bios version 2308 might work with his 7000 processor….

I know, but I'm using a 9950x
wasnt for you
for you in a my previous message i have asked to see an image or a video where the system hangs if different in these many tries than divisor by 0 error ;)

if you are using latest EFI proposed by Shaneee no difference in your debug log
so problem is elsewhere

FSB calculation still isn't working that's what's causing the error. @ssuper2k really appreciate the testing. Could you give this a go. I've altered the calculations and added some debug statements.
