Hi Hackinfriends!
I have this thing and I cannot solve it. I have the latest Big Sur version, latest Kexts and stuff. But when I try to spoof the AMD R9 390 gpu, it won't work! Anybody willing to help me out? Thanks in advance.

How did you try and spoof the device?

Yes but which method? The Device Property method works best. You'd be best spoofing the 390X. To do this with Device Properties the ID you'd need would be B0670000.

I did but no changes.

I got this message in OCAuxillaryTools:

OCS: No schema for ProtocolOverrides at 12 index, context <Quirks>!
OCS: Missing key ProtocolOverrides, context <UEFI>!
Serialisation returns 2 errors!
ACPI->Add[5]->Path has filename suffix other than .aml and .bin!
CheckACPI returns 1 error!
Kernel->Add[3]->PlistPath does NOT contain .plist suffix!
CheckKernel returns 1 error!
Completed validating /Volumes/BOOT/EFI/OC/config.plist in 2 ms. Found 4 issues requiring attention

How do I solve these problems?

Assuming the PCI path is correct that should work.

OCS: No schema for ProtocolOverrides at 12 index, context <Quirks>!
OCS: Missing key ProtocolOverrides, context <UEFI>!
Compare these two to the Sample config of the same version.

ACPI->Add: The 5th Entry isn't pointing to a .aml file and needs fixed.
Kernel->Add: The 3rd Entry is missing the .plist from the end of Info".plist"

Ok, I'm at home so trying right now...

I'm kinda lost right now...

ProtocolOverrides is missing from your UEFI section. Copy if over from Sample.plist

Check this out!
I have just one problem left: still no metal in Big Sur. When I press spacebar to see a preview off a pdf file, it lags.

What does System Information show for your GPU?

Looks like it's all enabled correctly there. Which PAT patch do you have enabled?

PAT patch? Don’t know. Where can I find that?

Somehow OCAuxiliaryTools sees a couple of errors!
What now this time?
