Solved Whatevergreen problem

Hi all,

For the last days i've tried to boot the Tahoe installer on my Hack.

I changed the kernel patches, updated to OC 1.0.5, updated essential kexts (Lilu, WEG etc.) to the latest commit and added maxkernels to some kexts. First the boot was halting on iog flags 0x3. Then after discovering that WEG has some difficulties with Tahoe, i disabled WEG, but now after the inital booting stage, which completes, i end up with a black screen. I guess it has something to do with the pikera WEG patch that cannot be loaded.

Any ideas how to fix it? Should i use NootRX instead?

for the Setup Process use HDMI and then you can use whatevergreen.kext and Display Port.

Последние дни я пытался загрузить установщик Tahoe на свой Hack.

Я изменил патчи ядра, обновленные до OC 1.0.5, обновил основные кексты (Lilu, WEG и т. д.) до последней фиксации и добавил максимальные ядра в некоторые кексты. Сначала ботинок останавливался на флагах iog 0x3. Затем, обнаружив, что у WEG есть некоторые трудности с Tahoe, я отключил WEG, но теперь, после стадии начальной загрузки, которая завершается, я получаю черный экран. Думаю, это как-то связано с патчем Pikera WEG, который невозможно загрузить.

Есть идеи, как это исправить? Должен ли я использовать NootRX вместо этого?

Tried using my HDMI port, but still got a black screen..

i tried using NootRX as well. Same result. My system boots fine with Sequoia, but with Tahoe just a black screen.

Fixed. Turns out AirportBrcmFixup was conflicting somehow.
