Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums. Nice to meet you all!

Just thought I would share my recently completed hack. Have had this system for a while running Win 11 - mostly used for gaming by the kids. Now dual-booted with Mac OS Ventura!

(I do have a better keyboard and mouse including a magic mouse 2 and magic keyboard 2 - just using these temporarily as I moved the computer from my daughters room to the dining room :ROFLMAO:)

Opencore 1.0.4
SMBIOS - MacPro7,1

Try adding FeatureUnlock.kext for Sidecar functionality.

For Aquantia 10G Ethernet use patches provided by @CaseySJ

Thanks, works perfectly! Will test the new NIC when it arrives in the post

I have 10 x Marvell (Aquantia) AQC107 & AQC113 10G Ethernet PCIe cards. They all work really well with the linked patches and Aquantia Kernel Quirk, using the Aquantia Ethernet kext provided by Apple in macOS.

I have 2 x ASUS XG-C110C cards, 2 x ASUS ROG AREION cards and 6 x FENVI 10Gbps AQC113 cards. I have used these to upgrade my Dual booting Hacks and macOS Server (HP ProLiant ML10 Gen 9 Hack). Most are now running macOS Sequoia 15.4.1.

That's great, so no issues in Sequoia? As I may upgrade, I just went with Ventura initially as the Fenvi card works OOB and I have read that OCLP and lowering SIP is required for anything beyond that - not sure how much of an impact upgrading would have or if it would break anything else that is currently working?

I had no success with the AppleIGB.kext for my onboard intel 1gb NIC - it worked intermittently, sometimes for 30 seconds, sometimes for 10 minutes before it would drop and I had to ifconfig en0 down and up to get it working (briefly) again.

I have disabled my builtin 1Gb Ethernet port (in the bios) on my ASUS X570 system and use the 10G card as en0, with a Broadcom BCM43602CS WiFi/BT card set as en1. I am running OCLP on Sequoia 15.4.1 with no issues.
